Tests on five patients show that the arms move almost as fast and accurately as healthy arms, Dr. Todd A. Kuiken of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago reported Wednesday in the Journal of the American Medical Association. Read the rest of this entry »

When my employer, Klipsch Group, offered a health screening by ProMotion Fitness for the first time in 2004, I knew I had high blood pressure — but I was ignoring it — and I knew I was overweight. But I had no idea I was diabetic. My glucose reading came back well over 500. Anything below 100 is non- diabetic. I was told to see my doctor right away.
I went in for a physical exam, and my doctor said I needed to get insulin shots. I also got medication Read the rest of this entry »
