Gulf Coast Medical Center opening draws crowd

Lines leading from the new Gulf Coast Medical Center in south Fort Myers looked more like the line for a ride at Disney World than for a hospital tour.
But, crowds came to take in all the new facility, walking around the 436,000 square feet of new construction in groups of 20.

Younger Crowd Likes Paterson's Health Care Proposal

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – One of New York Gov. David Paterson’s proposals announced Tuesday during his State of the State address is getting some good reception from people in their 20s who don’t have health insurance.
Paterson wants to extend private family health insurance coverage to young adults up to age 29. This means that people in their 20s could stay on their parents’ plan.
