Yesterday we reported about a bill in the Montana Legislature that would revoke registration cards of medical marijuana users for violating conditions of state law on the use of marijuana.

WASHINGTON — Faced with worsening forecasts for the economy, President-elect
is expanding his economic recovery plan and will seek to create 3 million jobs in the next two years, up from a goal of 2.5 million jobs set just last month, several advisers to Mr. Obama said Saturday.

U.S. Weighs New Tests of Banks’ Health, Fed May Expand Program

A plan to give every Oregonian access to affordable health
care within five years was presented Tuesday to Gov. Ted
Kulongoski and legislative leaders.

When 19 year old Vinny Cesario broke his leg playing lacrosse for Jefferson Community College, his medical bills were covered by the school.
Had JCC not paid his bills, he would have been covered under his parents’ health insurance.
That’s because he’s a college student.

Growing pains sometimes take time.
“We’re hoping to add 2,500 to 3,000 square feet to the existing building,” said Angie Coburn, administrator at the Esperanza Family Health Center in Estancia.
The current building was completed in November 2004 and is located behind the Neil Mertz Judicial Complex building. Before that Esperanza was in the old Hope Medical Building that now houses the Estancia Public Health Office.
