Despite a drop in the amount of money it had to give, the Flow Heath Care Foundation gave $187,176 in grants this week to area nonprofit agencies focusing on health in the new year.
The amount is down from the $232,400 given for 2008.

ETOWAH – Pardee Hospital Foundation, on behalf of Pardee Hospital, recently received approval for a $38,880 grant from the N.C. Office of Rural Health and Community Care.
