WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The sole source of the U.S. salmonella outbreak involving contaminated peanut butter appears to be the Peanut Corp of America’s Blakely, Georgia processing facility, federal officials said on Wednesday.
More than 125 products including cookies, crackers, ice cream and even some pet food have been recalled in connection with the outbreak, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said.

A strain of salmonella that was detected at a Georgia peanut plant and caused hundreds of illnesses nationwide also has been confirmed in peanuts processed at a West Texas plant owned by the same company, Texas health officials announced Tuesday.

LLC was awarded the contract to advise a hospital in Georgia on the construction of a new facility.
The company will provide advisory services and a strategic project launch readiness assessment for a new Phoebe-Sumter Hospital in Americus, Ga., said a news release.
