Woman Pleads Guilty To Stealing Baby

SANFORD, Fla. – A woman accused of stealing a baby from a Sanford hospital pleaded guilty on Tuesday.
Jennifer Latham was accused of taking a newborn baby from Central Florida Regional Hospital last March. In April, Latham pleaded not guilty to kidnapping, attempted kidnapping and burglary, but reversed those pleas Tuesday.

A Lindsey man pleaded guilty to embezzling drugs from an Ada pharmacy Friday.
United States Attorney Sheldon J. Sperling said Hugh Edward Work, 32, pleaded guilty to theft or embezzlement in connection with health care and embezzlement or theft from an Indian tribal organization.

COSTA MESA, Calif.—A woman who helped recruit patients to undergo unnecessary surgeries as part of a $154 million medical insurance fraud has pleaded guilty to 22 charges.
