State Police have charged a CVS pharmacy technician with stealing more than $9,000 worth of drugs from the Pembroke store during a three-year period.
Cheryl L. Pascarelli, 45, of 10 Lydon Lane, Halifax, pleaded innocent to larceny of drugs on Wednesday in Plymouth District Court.

A Volusia County man is recovering after jumping from the second floor of Halifax Health Center Saturday.
According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, the man, 37, was initially taken to the hospital by his brother for a psychiatric evaluation.
As the man came in the front entrance, he broke away and ran up a set of stairs, to the top of an administrative wing.

DAYTONA BEACH — A 37-year-old man was in satisfactory condition Saturday at Halifax Health Medical Center after jumping off a second-story roof of the hospital.
A hospital spokeswoman said the man, whose address is unknown, was brought to the hospital around 10:30 a.m. by his brother for psychiatric evaluation.
