Virginia Police Hunt Suspect Who Shot Officer, Neighbors

DRAPER, Va. — Authorities searched in two Virginia counties Tuesday for a man suspected of shooting two neighbors — one fatally — and a sheriff’s deputy.
A woman also was injured when she apparently jumped from the second story of a house to escape a fire that authorities believe was connected to the shootings.

SEATTLE — The University of Washington Medical Center was placed under lockdown while police searched for a bank robber Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery happened at the Key Bank at 1300 NE 45th Street at about 2 p.m. The suspect implied he had a gun, but used a note in the robbery.

Dr. William Jack Hunt, 90, a resident of River Landing at Sandy Ridge, died Wednesday morning, Nov. 26, 2008, at the Presbyterian Home. Dr. Hunt was born Sept. 13, 1918, in High Point, a son of Vilas Lee Hunt and Norah Lena Koontz Hunt.

US police hunting for actress Jennifer Hudson’s missing seven-year-old nephew say they have found the body of a boy in a white car, reports say.
Julian King has not been seen since Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot dead in their Chicago home.
Police issued a search alert for Julian and a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban vehicle after Friday’s discovery.
