15 Students Injured in Cardozo High School Fight

Authorities said that most of the injuries were minor but that one student, a 17-year-old male, suffered a head injury during a fall and was knocked unconscious. They said the youth was taken by ambulance to Howard University Hospital and regained consciousness on the way.

Man injured in Danville shooting

DANVILLE — A teenager has died after he was shot in the neck Tuesday night, the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office said.
Police are investigating the shooting and have not released a motive for the attack.
Officers were called about 9:15 p.m. to the intersection of El Capitan and Borica drives and found the victim lying in front of a home with a gunshot wound to his throat, police said. It was not immediately clear how the shooting occurred.

Man injured in Richmond drive-by shooting

RICHMOND — A man was seriously injured in a drive-by shooting Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Officers responded to a report of numerous shots fired at the intersection of 21st Street and Florida Avenue about 5:30 p.m. At the intersection they found several bullet casings. One block over, at 22nd Street, officers found the victim, who had been shot in the lower back.

Updated: Woman Injured In Fall During Christmas Show Dies

OAKLEY, Ohio – A cast member in a Christmas nativity show died Thursday from injuries she suffered the night before in a fall during a performance at Crossroads Church.
