New measures are in place at one hospital in the east, after they lost funding following an investigation.
Officials say reports made at Cherry Hospital in Goldsboro, showed employees used money from drug companies and foreign medical schools for overnight travel.
According to reports, the hospital administrators approved almost $140,000 for travel to medical events.

WTHR investigation leads to record $2.25M HIPAA settlement

The investigation revealed 16,000 violations in Kentucky and seven other states.
