Kennesaw may link health premiums to wellness program

Kennesaw’s city employees identified as high-risk for health complications may pay more for medical benefits unless they participate in a city-sponsored wellness program.

Kennesaw employees with health risk factors can avoid a proposed insurance surcharge if they take part in a city-sponsored wellness program.

Abducted Kennesaw woman found in Fla. hospital

A Kennesaw woman abducted from a Cobb County shopping center Wednesday afternoon was found at a hospital in north Florida, where she was listed in critical condition.
Cobb County investigators say Lisa Ambrose, 41, was stabbed and kidnapped in her own car from the Town Center Plaza shopping center off Barrett Parkway by Anthony Robbins, 39, of Kennesaw, who remains at large.
