How Many Kids Need Cholesterol Drugs?
Feb. 16, 2009 — Following a call for more aggressive screening and
treatment of cholesterol in childhood, a new study published in the journal
shows that about 200,000 U.S. teens and preteens need

At 11:45 p.m., officers with the LAPD’s Southwest Division responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of W. 48th Street near Arlington Street. Investigators said Carrington Henderson, 25, of Los Angeles, was standing in the street when suspects in a mid-sized car or sport utility vehicle shot at him multiple times.
