The Peckham family of philanthropists has given $10 million to support cancer and blood-disorder programs at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego.
The late Peter Peckham, a real estate executive and co-owner of the San Diego Padres, started making donations to the hospital in the late 1960s with his wife, Nancy.
