Hospital president named Partners CEO

Dr. Gary L. Gottlieb, the president of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, will become chief executive of Partners HealthCare System Inc. at the end of the year, when Dr. James J. Mongan retires from the position.

Man found injured in town named

A man who died after he was found lying on the pavement in a Warwickshire town in the early hours has been named.
Paul William Smith, 54, of Biart Place, Rugby, was discovered with an injury to the back of his head in Clifton Road in the town on Saturday morning.
Mr Smith, commonly known as Tall Paul, was pronounced dead in hospital, Warwickshire Police said.
