Laughlin Offers New Breast Cancer Screening Technology

New technology available locally may be more effective at screening for breast cancer in younger women.
Since September, Laughlin Memorial Hospital has been offering digital mammography at its Center for Women’s Health.

Christmas in war zone offers 2 sad reminders

Joshua Seitz and John Pryor both lived in Western New York before settling in Pennsylvania.
The two men now share another bond: Christmas Day casualties in the Iraq war zone.
Seitz, 19, who had lived in Allegany County, died in a boat collision in Manama, Bahrain.
