The bill that would raise the maximum annual income allowable for enrollment in the child health insurance program (known as Kid Care CHIP) passed a second reading of the Wyoming Senate on Friday.

For more than a dozen years, advocates have fought to lift restrictions on mental health coverage in insurance policies.

A new report gives Georgia a passing grade for its readiness to distribute stockpiled medicine and vaccines during a pandemic or terrorist attack —- but not by much.
The report, released Tuesday by the Trust for America’s Health, found that Georgia has “adequate plans” to dole out emergency medical supplies from the Strategic National Stockpile in a catastrophe.

Boland hooker Harry Vermaas has passed a fitness test, and will be available for Friday night’s Currie Cup match against the Blue Bulls at Loftus Versfeld.
