The Northeast Iowa Food and Fitness Initiative (FFI) has announced it is seeking requests for activities to support and build on its efforts. This initiative is about people working together to create vibrant communities where the healthy choice is the easy choice.

WASHINGTON — The United Auto Workers on Saturday called proposals to modify a union-run health care fund “a non-starter.”

Crich residents could soon see proposals for long-awaited GP facilities at the back of the Glebe Field Centre.
If a planning application, set to be submitted later this month, is approved work is expected to start early next year.

In recent days, Democratic Barack Obama and running mate Joe Biden have said Republican opponent John McCain’s health care plan would be a massive income tax hike on anyone with employer-provided health insurance.
