County rehired convicted rapist shortly after firing him

about Beasley’s employment history was incomplete.
“The supervisor is very, very concerned,” said Tony Bell, spokesman for Supervisor Mike Antonovich. “We are trying to get a full accounting so that we can hold those responsible to account.”
The fact that Beasley, who apparently came back into the county health system through an outside contractor, was back on the payroll raises numerous troubling questions.

Hospital trustees want dietician to be rehired

In an effort to quickly boost employee morale, the St. John’s Medical Center board voted 4-3 Friday to ask administrators to consider rehiring a registered dietician for a trial period of six months.
Maureen Molinari, a diabetes educator, was released in November when hospital administrators eliminated the Health Institute.
