The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that it will be widening its investigation into the contamination of peanut products with salmonella.
According to MSNBC, the Georgia based company, Peanut Corporation of America, knowing shipped contaminated products back as far as 2007.

WASHINGTON —  The Associated Press has learned a processing plant in Texas run by the same company blamed for a national salmonella outbreak operated uninspected and unlicensed for years.
