FDA said to choose speed when buying IT

Officials at the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Drug
Evaluation and Research stressed speed and flexibility when buying
technology, but lacked clearly defined requirements, according to a
report released today.

Dallas police officer injured in crash during high-speed chase

A Dallas police officer is being treated at Baylor University Medical Center for leg injuries after his squad car crashed into a tree during a high-speed chase that ended in Pleasant Grove.
The officer’s name was not immediately released, but his injuries are not expected to be life-threatening, said Dallas police spokesman Gerardo Monreal.
