THURSDAY, Feb. 19 (HealthDay News) — A powerful clot-busting drug approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in stroke patients in 1996 is still rarely used in Medicare patients, new research shows.

did not follow proper procedure when a 99-year-old stroke victim
spent more than six hours in the emergency room last year.
The state Health and Senior Services Department has cited Saint
Michael’s Medical Center, but says it’s unclear whether the

MORE than 60 out of 200 people admitted to the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) this year due to bleeding in the brain or a stroke have died, it was revealed yesterday.
