Heating Heart With Catheter Works Better Than Drugs For Heart

— Treating a common heart rhythm disorder by burning heart tissue with a catheter works dramatically better than drug treatments, a major international study has found.

Doctor works to provide medical care to the homeless

CINCINNATI – The 98-pound homeless woman wore a fraying lavender bathrobe over her white T-shirt and pajama bottoms.

Utah state hospital works to reduce wait

PROVO — The number of defendants declared incompentent to stand trial who may end up in jail while waiting for beds to open up in the state hospital has been reduced, state officials said.
    The Provo hospital has 359 beds, with 100 of those dedicated to people who have been involved in a criminal court proceeding.
