Mercury, Hornets stars team for youth fitness

Phoenix Mercury star Diana Taurasi and New Orleans Hornets phenom Chris Paul will introduce a nationwide youth fitness initiative at the 2009 All-Star Jam Session and unveil their new “got milk?” ads.
The ads will hit publications in March.

Youth stabbed outside GP surgery

Police have launched an investigation after a serious assault near a GP surgery in southern Scotland.
A 16-year-old boy suffered a number of stab wounds in the incident in Castle Street, Dumfries, close to the Greyfriars Medical Centre.
The attack happened at about 2315 GMT on Sunday and the victim was taken to Dumfries Infirmary for treatment.
A police spokesman said his injuries had been described as serious but not life-threatening.
